PhD workshop on International Relations

The Graduate School in Asian Studies in cooperation with Horizon Europe EUVIP project (EU in the Volatile Indo-Pacific) invite you to apply for our PhD workshop on International Relations. The workshop will bring together PhD students and senior scholars working on Asian International Relations over two days here at the Centre for East and Southeast Asian Studies, to discuss key issues in the region, exchange ideas, and most importantly, provide feedback on draft texts. As well as individual sessions on students’ draft texts, the workshop features 1-2 keynote speakers delivering public lecture on pressing issues in East Asia/the Indo-Pacific region. The deadline for the application is 25th September 2024.

Papers
To participate in the workshop, PhD students are required to submit a chapter from their thesis or a research paper in progress, which will be shared with other participants in advance. This allows participants to thoroughly review the material and utilize it as a basis for discussion and feedback. The deadline for submitting your draft text is 1st November.
